Machine Learning for ABACUS

Description

ABACUS is J-S Caux’s machine for computing physical properties (states, matrix elements, correlation functions) of integrable models.

There are 3 aspects for which engines based on modern machine learning techniques could eventually be implemented:

  • solving the Bethe equations
  • evaluating matrix elements
  • scanning the Hilbert space

This project would aim at implementing the first of these engines.
